Howdy cowpokes. I am Evan. Amongst most Earthlings I would say I am a superior one. Nah I’m joking kinda. In my free time I like slingin cattle and attending to my crops. Nah I’m joking again. I do however own a six shooter. It is made of plastic, but I still own it.
I am a senior at Shorewood High School, and this website is for my visual Journalism class. In this class we focused on using nice cameras for different projects that involved taking nice pictures, and making short films and documentary’s.
For my third video I would like to share, I ran out of space on that weird video website, so rather than putting on there it’s right here on the webpage for you beautiful people.
For this project we were given a prompt that we had to create a story out that doesn’t use any audio. The prompt for the one I made was “You Never Know Until it’s too Late”, hence the title of the video, “You Never Know Until it’s too Late.”
This is the link to my first video entitled “A Day in the Life, like the Beatles song. This was for a project where we were assigned to go around Shorewood and capture moments that we can create a story out of, which is exactly what I did. As you’ll see I captured some very strange moments, some folks say it feels like a fever dream, which I coulden’t agree more with.
This is the link to my second video entitled “Shorewood Folk”. For this assignment we were told to create a story about Shorewood High School itself. I decided to go around the high school and interview some of the students, see how they felt about the place.
