Hi, my name is Omar Acevedo
Im a junior at SHS and chose to do visual journalism because because i wanted to learn the basics of video editing along with reinforcing my photography skills.
This was our last main project for Visual journalism where everyone did a topic regarding social media, Will and I decided to send a school wide survey and interviewed those who wished to be interviewed diving deeper into the questions they previously answered
This was the Shorewood slideshow a solo project where you had to go around around Shorewood and find those meaningful spots to you and show your depiction of the community.
For this assignment, everyone was partnered up with somebody and were given a prompt that they had to portray without the use of words, Even and i were given “you never know untill its to late”.
