This project is a look into four Milwaukee area schools (Shorewood High School, Whitefish Bay High School, Messmer High School, and Divine Savior Holy Angels High School), and the reputations that they have. Students from each school were interviewed, and were asked to talk about one of the four schools, whether that be their own, or a neighboring school. With students coming from diverse social and economic background, their perceptions of the schools varied.

The text in the video is color coded by school.

Shorewood - pink

Whitefish Bay - blue

Messmer - navy

DSHA - yellow

Why is it called frost?

When there is frost on a window, you can still see through it, but the image is not 100% clear. Frost acts as a barrier between your eyes, and what's on the other side of the window, similar to how reputations work. A reputation is not always a 100% accurate representation of something, and can prevent you from seeing what's really there. In this project, we are trying to see through the frost, to see the other side clearly. How do the reputations of schools compare with their reality?
