Growth: The Stories of Those Who Give

Organic Matter Defined:

Organic Matter is a podcast centered around the personal growth sparked through volunteering. This podcast is focused on four Milwaukee-based volunteer organizations: The Urban Ecology Center’s ROOT program, Habitat for Humanity, The Riverwest Food Pantry, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Milwaukee. Four volunteers from the Urban Ecology Center, three volunteers from Habitat for Humanity, three volunteers/people involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters and five volunteers from the Riverwest Food Pantry were interviewed for this podcast. Not only were the different organizations unique, but every story was personal and different from the others within the same organization.
